This page shows public information regarding past major LINDA targets to give a brief insight into how we operate and the results we may achieve. Not all past targets are shown due to security and privacy reasons and we never make current targets public.

 

Target case statuses within LINDA can be:

Open - actively being investigated

Dormant - no longer a priority but still a potential target

Closed - no longer deemed a target or investigation ended

Closed with outcome - investigation ended with significant result

Current status: Closed

In the UK, Mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson, was under investigation in March 2019, shortly before the local elections, due to allegations made regarding the way he operated his Mayor Campaign. We looked into data from his 2019 and 2015 campaigns but did not find any significant evidence to bring action against him and so closed the case in June 2019.

Current Status: Closed with outcome

We began looking into LINDA Canada Leader Owen Daniel in April 2019 as he was not fully committed to LINDA and often failed to keep in contact with members. We dropped the case to Dormant when improvements were made, however a crucial piece of evidence of malpractice was discovered in October 2019 and we had no choice but to permanently suspend him. The investigation continued into mid-2020 and LINDA found him guilty of multiple offences and misconduct. He was subsequently banned from all contact with us and Livia Hill took over as LINDA Canada leader.
